The Deverills are a set of beautiful, rolling hills between Warminster and Maiden Bradley in Wiltshire. This is an ancient landscape, very near Stone Henge. Perhaps it’s something about the giant curved lines before you, or perhaps it’s just the energy beneath your feet. Either way, you know you are standing on ancient ground.
I was passing this scene on Christmas day, and the light and early Winter colours caught my eye.
